The Büelen near Wolfenschiessen are located in the middle of the Engelberg valley and are very well protected from winds. That’s why flights are often still possible at that exceptional flying area when the regional foehn wind has made a flight impossible in other areas. Particularly noteworthy is the great infrastructure of the landing site with folding area, seating area and large offer of sandwiches, ice cream and drinks.
