As a tandem paragliding passenger, you do not need any prior knowledge. It is sufficient if you can run a few quick steps. It is important to listen actively to the tandem pilot. They will be happy to explain the next steps to you.
The passenger's body weight must be between 20 and 90 kg. / 44 and 200 lbs. If you are taller than average or extremely muscular, different values apply. In this case, please contact us so that we can clarify this with you personally.
The participants are not insured by the organizer. Each participant is responsible for taking out adequate health and accident insurance cover (including sports accidents). Paragliding is not a high-risk sport and is covered by normal Swiss accident insurance (UVG). Passengers from other countries (residence is decisive) must have appropriate insurance.
Tandem paragliding is an outdoor activity, so it is essential to wear clothing and footwear that is suitable for the weather conditions. Sturdy footwear, e.g. hiking or trekking boots, and clothing appropriate for the season are essential. If you do not have suitable footwear, you can borrow a pair from us free of charge.
The equipment you need for flying will be provided on site. This includes a helmet and paragliding harness.
Yes. Spring, summer, autumn or winter – paragliding is great in every season. We fly all year round, as long as the weather conditions allow it. It is also worth mentioning that warm clothing is extremely important in winter.
Passengers aged between 6 and 85 have already flown with us. Children under the age of 16 require the consent of a parent or guardian.
Many years of professional experience since 1994 guarantee you maximum safety. Our experienced, commercial professional tandem pilots have the necessary training and further education from the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA).
To ensure maximum safety, we use state-of-the-art flight equipment, which is regularly inspected and maintained.
No tandem jumps from aeroplanes or cliffs. The jump is made from slightly sloping terrain.
We offer a shuttle service to the flying site in our minibus. All flying sites can be reached quickly from Lucerne, Zurich, Bern and Basel by public transport or car.
