We have been operating tandem paragliding flights in the most beautiful flying areas of Central Switzerland since 1994. Paragliding Lucerne was founded to share the joy of flying. Only if the pilot flies with enthusiasm will the passenger also experience this feeling.
Tandem paragliding is a matter of trust. It is important to us that you have full confidence in our safety and reliability.
At Paragliding Lucerne you fly exclusively with professionals. Our team consists of full-time paragliding pilots with extensive experience. All our tandem pilots have the necessary training and further training from the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA).
What is paragliding ?
Paragliding is the easiest way to fly. With a paraglider in your luggage, you can reach countless flying areas around the world.
After a few minutes to prepare for take-off, you are already floating in the element of air and flying over beautiful landscapes without the noise and hustle and bustle of everyday life. Only you and the elements count, that’s paragliding.
The pilot steers with full control to where he wants and uses the air currents to do so. Safety
All our experienced, commercial professional tandem pilots have the necessary training and further training from the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA). Paragliding is covered by the normal Swiss accident insurance (UVG). Participants are insured for medical expenses in Switzerland.
To ensure maximum safety, we use the latest flying equipment and are regularly checked and maintained. We do not jump from cliffs, but from slightly sloping ground.
Tandem flight - Procedure
After arriving at the take-off site, your tandem pilot will prepare your flying equipment. Your harness and helmet will be adjusted and the take-off and landing procedure will be explained to you. After a brief orientation, the pilot and passenger attach themselves to the paraglider
